چکیده

Abstract Composite materials provide many advantages over more conventional materials. However, their susceptibility to impact damage can question use in critical load-bearing structures, and efficient methods are needed for early detection. To this purpose, the nonlinear vibro-acoustic modulation (VAM) technique applies a low-frequency pump excitation high-frequency probe exploit onset of harmonic components around frequency damaged structural response. The VAM has been widely studied on structures instrumented with piezoceramic transducers used both actuation sensing, but few attempts have made equipment typical modal testing, such as shakers accelerometers. In study, is applied composite laminate beam by employing an electro-dynamic shaker generate flexural excitation, low-profile transducer introduce wave, micro-accelerometer sense Three resonance low frequencies two acoustic considered different testing scenarios, at increasing levels amplitude. results show general good performance adopted experimental setup, choice higher level having significant its sensitivity.

Modeling of Hygrothermal Damage of Composite Materials

Composite materials have been used extensively in various applications, such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, and aviation thanks to their interesting mechanical properties. However, a substantial drawback in the use of such composite materials is that they absorb a significant amount of moisture when exposed to severe hygrothermal conditions. This factor dramatically affects t...

hydrochlorothiazide detection in urine samples by hplc-dad and experimental design dispersive l-l microextraction

hydrochlorothiazide (hct) is a diuretic agent which is shown to be effective in the treatment of hypertension. literature reports have demonstrated that urinary excretion data may be used to assess the bioavailability of various formulations containing this thiazide. also hct consumption by the athletes is one of the drugs which should be regulated by world anti-doping agency (wada), because of...

Damage Detection of Composite Materials with LAMB Wave Method

The aim of the experimental study described in this paper was Lamb wave method evaluation for damage/ defects detection of epoxi/glass composites. Can be used piezoelectric transducers actuator/sensor glued on the surface of investigated composite, using transmission mode. The chosen control parameter was the sensor signal attenuation because of defects that exists in examinated samples. The pr...

Damage Detection of Flexural Member by Estimated Moment Diagram

This study considers an analytical method to detect the damage location from the moment diagram calculated by the external forces and the forces required for obtaining the same deflections as the measurement deflections. The measured deflections must be a part of displacements to restrict the static behavior of the damaged beam. The constraint forces acting at measurement points are derived by ...
